CPP Payment Dates

  • First of all, log in to your My Service Canada Account (MSCA).
  • Now navigate to the direct deposit section.
  • Enter or update your banking information. Make sure to enter valid banking details.

This is the quickest method to set up direct deposit. The payments will start as early as next month.

By Phone

  • First of all, register or sign in to “MY Service Canada Account” (MCA). 
  • From the Canada Pension Plan section dashboard, you will find the “Apply For Canada Pension Plan Retirement Pension” Option. Select that option to get started.
  • Now provide the required information accurately and follow the screen instructions for further process. 
  • After the submission of the application, you will get a confirmation mail within 28 days.

2. Apply Via Paper Form

  • The applicant must be under 65 years old and unable to work due to a severe and prolonged disability.
  • The applications must have contributions in CPP for at least 4 of the last 6 years. 
  • The applicant must have a disability.

Amount:

  • The monthly payment for disabled contributors would be $583.32 per month
  • The contributor with dependent children would get $294.12 per child.

2. Child Benefit

  • Separated legal spouses may qualify if the deceased had no common-law partner at the time of death.
  • The deceased must have made sufficient CPP contributions (at least three years or one-third of their contributory period, with a minimum of 10 years).

The Payment Amounts of Canada Pension Plan (CPP) at ages 60 and 65 are given.

  • Under 65 years old: A flat-rate portion plus 37.5% of the deceased’s retirement pension.
  • 65 years or older: 60% of the deceased’s retirement pension.
  • If combined with other CPP benefits, the total cannot exceed the maximum CPP retirement pension amount ($1,433.00 per month in 2025).

5. Retirement Pension Benefit

The CPP Retirement Pension is a monthly taxable benefit for individuals who contributed to the CPP.
